More Public Art: Miro Dance Theatre presents Principles of Uncertainty

Posted September 7th, 2007

After you see Sonic Dances, take a walk down Market Street. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the tourists and the junkies, smile at the actors dressed in colonial-era garb, and then breathe a sigh of relief when you reach 3rd Street. Peruse the galleries on 3rd and 2nd Streets, and then skibble up to 2nd and Race for Principles of Uncertainty, Miro Dance Theatre’s latest dance-sound-and-video concoction. Miro will create a live model of a particle accelerator using fifteen dancers, fifty drummers, and a stunning video art collaboration. There will be three performances tonight at 7:45, 8:30, 9:30. Read more about Principles of Uncertaintyat Miro’s website.
