A wacky, eccentric and absolutely fabulous time! That’s what you’ll have at our semi-staged concert version of one of Gilbert and Sullivan’s best works. Political satire set in today’s Philadelphia. Even the names have been “Phillized”. We love this city. We love G&S. Figured why not combine the two? Come experience the results. We’ll have fun!

Aurora Classical takes its name and inspiration from the news paper “Philadelphia Aurora” which was founded by Benjamin Franklin Bache, grandson to Benjamin Franklin. The paper stood for the rights of “yeoman farmers”,”planters” and the “plain folk”. We believe classical music is for everyone no matter your budget!
