“Ashes of a Dead Philosophy” is the result of a two year collaboration between Widener University students and theatrical professionals who, taking their own initiative and experience are launching this production independent of the university. Widener students, taking the initiative of leadership so fundamental to the university’s philosophy, partnered with Forgotten Lore Theatre Company to take this work to the 2016 FringeArts Festival. “Ashes” is conceived as a follow-up to the 2015 immersive experience, “Dissever My Soul” though “Ashes” stands as an independent and more refined story. Much of the artistic team of “Ashes” worked on the artistic team of “Dissever”.
