ABOUT THE AJ HARPER DANCE PROJECT: The AJ Harper Dance Project stepped onto the Philadelphia dance scene in July 2017. Founded and directed by Ashley Nichole Johnson the company aims to create a professional environment where high school, college and professional dancers can share the stage. The AJHDP has presented in showcases throughout the Philadelphia area over the past year. The works produced by Ms. Johnson are spellbinding dynamic creations. The AJHDP aims to push the boundaries and bridge the gap between commercial and concert dance. ABOUT A. DANCE THEATRE: a. dance theatre is a new company that will be making its debut in the 2018 Philly Fringe Festival in CHURCH & STATE. Directed and founded by Adrianna Poindexter, a. dance theatre fuses various genres of dance together, including jazz, hip-hop and modern, to create unique and riveting works that are exciting to watch. Through these works, a. dance theatre aims to inspire, entertain and move audiences.
