Circadium presents a showcase of original works by first-year students.
Circadium is the country’s only diploma-granting college for circus, and it’s based right here in Philadelphia. Throughout their first year of study, students create original circus pieces driven by theatrical concepts, and this presentation compiles the best of the best. Expect a display of extraordinary physical talent, theatrical explorations, and a glimpse into the future of American contemporary circus.
Performers include: Will Aaron, Chantal Aguirre, Cassie Caldwell, Erin Gettelman, Jenny Kinzel, Ash Meyer, Josh Mosier, Hayden Simpson, and Josh Spaugh. They are from Georgia, Texas, New Hampshire, California, New York, and Hawaii.
Recommended for ages 13+.

About Circadium

Circadium is a non-profit vocational college, with the mission of cultivating, inspiring, and innovating contemporary circus performance in America. Their 3-year full-time curriculum includes classes in Acrobatics, Aerials, Object Manipulation, Physical Theatre, Movement, along with supplementary work in Marketing, Production, Prop-Building, and Circus History. A strong emphasis is placed on creation and entrepreneurship. They are a member of the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools.
