good luck: a regathering is an immersive performance and act of radical hospitality in the form of a 5-course, sit-down, seed to farm to table meal to be shared with strangers and loved ones. Regathering is a response to the hunger to re/build worlds in this time of social, economic, racial, health, and ecological crises. Ushering in the Equinox and its late harvest, we will mark the ways we’ve centered distance and safety while also imagining futures of intimacy and survival. We hope for this to be an ongoing space of ritual making, feeding, and being fed.

Please note: tickets for this event are sliding scale ($0-$50) to facilitate access to our entire community. In the spirit of mutual aid, please pay what you can, acknowledging that lower ends of the scale are reserved for people with limited resources.

About the Artist

Devyn Lorelei Mañibo (she/her) is a maker, feeder, and arts worker. She has has had poetry, book art, and multimedia installation work presented and published internationally in festivals, museums, and journals including the MIX NYC Queer Experimental Film Festival, Split This Rock, the National Queer Arts Festival, the Berlin Porn Film Festival, the Queens Museum, Sixty Inches from Center, TAYO Literary Magazine, Bitch Magazine, Ginger Zine, The Brooklyn Rail, and The Chicago Reader.

She was a 2018 [Multitude] Artist-in-Residence at The Overlook Place, a participant in the Home School’s Summer 2019 workshop in Hudson, NY, and a 2020 Tin House Summer Workshop Scholar working with Aimee Nezhukumatathil. She received her BA in New Media and Queer Studies from Hampshire College, and an MFA in performance & performance studies from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is the co-curator of Maracuyá Peach with danilo machado and the co-editor of already felt: poems of revolt & bounty. She lives in Brooklyn on unceded Lenape land.

Jac I. Pryor (they/them) is a theater maker and social practice artist who works both inside and outside of traditional theatrical spaces and conventions. Their work pushes the limits of the physical body in performance, plays with the materiality of time and space, reimagines the audience/event relationship, and expands our understanding of what is possible in live art and in our everyday lives. They have received grants, awards, and residencies from the City of Austin, the Texas Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts; First Night Austin and First Night International; Austin Critics Table; Stillwater Foundation; Imagining America; Playa; Wassaic Project; and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. They live and work in Philadelphia on unceded Lenape land.
