Blue and Green are trapped in a room with no windows or doors. They don’t know how they got there and they can’t seem to find a way out. As they suffer at the hands of a mysterious figure, “the black stuff,” and their own waning humanity, they begin to investigate what made them people in the first place and what price they’re willing to pay for the chance to feel human again.

About the Artist
Raised in North Carolina, Mackenzie got her BA in Theatre and BFA in Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. From there she went to Miami University where she earned a Masters of Art in Theatre, Performance, and Practice after creating a theory to adapt violence from narrative fiction to stage. She writes about humanity through a playfully dark absurdist lens.
