Cabaret connoisseurs the Bearded Ladies return with another platter of deliciously dangerous, sensationally sweet, and provocatively pleasurable Late Night Snacks. Running throughout the Fringe Festival in a refitted East Passyunk industrial space, these after-hours performances feature different artists every night—from opera singers to drag queens, cabaret stars to art clowns, and everything in between.

Late Night Snacks ingredients may include artistic experimentation, adult content, consensual touch, ear worms, nudity, jubilation, great selfie material, rampant queerness, and many repeat visits. Not every show will be for everyone so feel free to come, and go, as you please. You know your diet, taste, allergies, and aphrodisiacs better than we. Late Night Snacks are experimental and works-in-progress. When we can, we will provide detailed ingredients for each show ahead of time online so you can decide how best to snack. When ingredients include any items listed below, there will be a notice at the on-site box office.

About the Artists
A renowned opera singer, recitalist, and cabaret artist, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe is one of the most highly respected and critically acclaimed artists of her generation. Her repertoire ranges from Handel to Wagner, German lieder to contemporary and classic American song. She has performed on many of the world’s great stages, such as Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, Paris National Opera and San Francisco, Chicago Lyric and Seattle Operas. Ms. Blythe was named Musical America’s Vocalist of the Year in 2009, received an Opera News Award in 2007 and won the prestigious Richard Tucker Award in 1999. She is the Artistic Director of Fall Island Vocal Arts Seminar and has recently been appointed Director of the Graduate Vocal Arts Program at Bard College. Ms. Blythe occasionally moonlights as dramatic tenor, Blythely Oratonio.
Dramatic tenor Blythely Oratonio was born in the basement of church in Philadelphia. Discovered by brilliant dramaturg, Jean Jarbeaux, Blythely entered the world of opera, becoming a sensation. Though he has traveled the world singing in Paris, Milan, Helsinki, New York, Graz, Karlsruhe, Dortmund, Reykjavik, Lidköping, Buckinghamshire, Seattle, Manitoba, and West Palm Beach, his heart belongs to Philadelphia. When Mr. Oratonio is not singing one of his signature roles, such as Cavaradossi, Calaf, Radames, Manrico, Canio, and Vasco de Gama, he can be heard on the concert stage from very far away. Mr. Oratonio occasionally moonlights as mezzo-soprano, Stephanie Blythe.
Sapphira Cristàl, Queen of the North East, can be seen in every major city in the region. She is a Lip sync assassin with a 6 octave vocal range. Sapphira is former a Miss Everything , Queen of Boston Pride, Miss NY USofA, current Miss New Hope ,Philadelphia’s Best lip sync artist 2018, and has been featured on Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens Live. She can be seen every Tuesday at Tabu in Philly, Thursday at Bob and Barbara’s and Every third Saturday at Pieces Bar in NYC, just the name a few spot.
