This all-ages Family Cabaret for the young ones in your lives is brought to you by The Bearded Ladies Cabaret, as part of this year’s edition of Late Night Snacks. Fun activities begin at 4:30pm. Join us for art-making, tattoos, and some pre-show tunes, and stay for the show at 5:00pm.

It’s time for Drag Story Hour with John Jarboe and Cherdonna Shinatra! The theme is Neighbors. Enjoy songs from Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, dance time with Cherdonna Shinatra, and stories about neighbors and friendship.

About the Artists

John Jarboe is a cabaret artist, director, writer, historian, and host serving you revolution, herstory, queer community making, and a whole lot of glitter. She is the founding artistic director of The Bearded Ladies Cabaret, transforming opera, cabaret, and live performance, making work that will make you sing, dance, and question. www.beardedladiescabaret.com

Jody Kuehner is a Seattle-based dance artist, director, and performance artist Cherdonna Shinatra. She is 2017 Artist Trust Fellowship recipient, 2017 Henry Art Gallery Artist in Residence, and 2015 Stranger Genius Award winner. She was funded by the New England Foundation for the Arts’ National Dance Project in 2016 and toured nationally. Kuehner recently premiered DITCH at the Frye Art Museum, a three-month gallery exhibition with daily performances. DITCH’s eighty performances drew an audience of over 3500 people. Jody was Dayna Hanson’s Production Coordinator and Assistant Director 2010-2015 for various projects. She danced with Pat Graney company from 2007 – 2016 also assisting Graney’s KTF Prison Project. She teaches Contemporary Dance at Velocity Dance Center and is a member of the touring Cabaret and Burlesque company Kitten&Lou Presents.
