Lilith and Her Demons adapts a collection of poems of the same name, by Enid Dame, into lyrics for a new song cycle. This piece explores how Lilith takes shape in folks of all kinds today.
They work in New Jersey
Find themselves in an abortion clinic
And at a tenants’ rights rally
And in a Brooklyn dairy restaurant
And by the Red Sea
Apartment 20 has adapted Lilith and Her Demons into a concept album for this year’s unconventional Fringe Festival, as a stepping stone toward production of the staged song cycle.
Audiences will receive a link to the YouTube stream, that corresponds with the date they have chosen, upon purchase of their ticket.
A transcript of the lyrics will be available in the Youtube description.
Note: This show contains frequent sexual language and mention of abortion.
Recommended for ages 13+.

Apartment 20 (Randi Alexis Hickey, Damien Figueras, Donnie Grimm) is an ensemble theatre collective, committed to new work that emphasizes personal narrative, musicality, and unapologetically honest storytelling. We are a group of devisers, therefore any work presented by Apartment 20 is a patchwork quilt that represents each of our Residents.
