Heart-Soul-Control (HSC) was started five years ago at La Salle University when two artists with different backgrounds, experiences, and goals became roommates. They decided to blend those backgrounds together for one reason: they simply enjoyed creating new art, and wanted to share it with everyone. Now, five years later, those two artists want to bring that same desire to the Philadelphia theater and arts community. We pledge to give every ounce of our own Heart, Soul, and Control to bring artists and audiences together in the tri-state area. Our goals for this venture are rooted in our founding principles: Heart — We offer every bit of joy and love for the creation of new art. Soul — We recognize that every artist has a new story inside of them they would like to share with the world. Control — We show nothing but respect for our work, artists, and audiences. Heart-Soul-Control is a platform for artists of multiple disciplines to have the freedom and support to tell their own breakthrough stories. Heart-Soul-Control seeks to bring together artists and derive new, original works for audiences to enjoy.
