Medicine Meditation: Water is part ritual, part visual/sound installation, and part workshop with touch points in science, spirituality, ancestry, and healing. Participants are given meditation prompts and invited to contribute to a living digital archive. Medicine Meditation: Water is the first in a study of the elements Water, Fire, Earth, Nature, and Mineral.

About the Artist

Severin Blake (they/all/we) is a writer and interdisciplinary artist. The work they create interrogates language, imagery, and time. They write in response to the world(s) they see around and within them. They facilitate intentional spaces of bravery, vulnerability, and joy making. As a performer Severin has appeared on stage at InterAct, Orbiter 3, Simpatico, Philadelphia Artists Collective, Philadelphia Asian Performing Artists, CCTC, Theatre Exile, Alma’s Engine and in exhibition at the PMA.
