Metal is unexpectedly soft. Kind is unabashedly sharp. Together, they present a collage of new solo work designed for folks secretly underwhelmed by new solo work. Metal and Kind are both multidisciplinary powerhouses working in and around social and folk dance, devised dance theater, and experimental storytelling.

This show is about 78 % family friendly. But we reserve the right to moon our audience at any time. And to swear. So nothing new for young folks already exposed to pop culture. This work supports and is supported by Urban Movement Arts (UMA), where we both work and teach. You don’t need to wait until September to come dance with us. Come take class! Urban Movement Arts (UMA) welcomes adults of all ages and experience levels.
*Shows Sat 9/29 & Sun 9/30 are technically ‘after’ Fringe is over. We’re bending space-time so you can come check it out.
