We’re bringing back our Outdoor Movies for two special Halloweekend film screenings! Bring the family, bundle up in your coziest sweater (or costume!), and get ready for Bedknobs and Broomsticks in Haas Biergarten. Enjoy our Halloween drink specials of apple cider and hot chocolate (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available).
Come early at 5pm for our children’s costume contest and some pre-show pumpkin decorating! We’ll provide a limited amount of pumpkins, as well as markers for decorating, but feel free to bring your own pumpkin. The children’s costume contest will begin shortly after 5pm, so come dressed to impress!
During the Battle of Britain, Miss Eglantine Price (Angela Lansbury), a cunning witch-in-training, decides to use her supernatural powers to defeat the Nazi menace. She sets out to accomplish this task with the aid of three inventive children who have been evacuated from the London Blitz. Joined by Emelius Brown (David Tomlinson), the head of Miss Price’s witchcraft training correspondence school, the crew uses an enchanted bed to travel into a fantasy land and foil encroaching German troops.
No tickets necessary, RSVP suggested. No outside food or beverages permitted. In case of rain, this film screening will be cancelled.
