PRIDE PARADE! is an interactive walking tour featuring historic hot spots in Center City Philadelphia. During this immersive storytelling adventure, we’ll dance, sing, and chant as we honor and celebrate out & proud ancestors who marched before our time. Join the movement — Remembering is resistance!

Wesley Flash is a writer, performer, and historian. His work re-imagines queer liberation movements through site-specific performance in public space. Wesley collaborated with feminist performance collective BabySkinGlove from 2009 – 2014. In 2012, he co-created Whose Streets Our Streets, a walking tour and web project about queer resistance in New York’s West Village.
Since 2015, Wesley serves as Spiritual Facilitator at BuoyRR, a retreat and residency for artists in Connecticut where he leads meditation and movement workshops. He also writes a zine about magic called Witch, Please!, teaches Tarot workshops, and reads cards for clients by appointment. PRIDE PARADE! was made possible in part by a grant from Small But Mighty Arts. It was initially conceived thanks to an Arts and Social Change grant from the Leeway Foundation in 2015. This is Wesley’s first appearance in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
