As quarantine hits, a newly single person mistakenly receives a terrarium and several caterpillars. Containment and cocoon collide as metaphor and consequence in RHOPALOCERA: a digital opera. This piece was conceived during containment, as meditation through music and movement to ask: what are we becoming?

A piece developed remotely and in its first phase of development. Original score by Laura Lizcano, camera trickery and acting devloped by Paul Deichmann and Laura Lizcano. Will be live-streamed on Twitch.

Written by Laura Lizcano and Paul Deichmann
