Sit Down. Stand Up. is contemporary dance piece choreographed and performed by Leslie Davidson and Jessica Noel about the constant roller coaster ride of the human psyche while involved in a turbulent relationship told to the music of Radiohead.

Jessica Noel and Leslie Davidson have collaborated on five productions through Philly PACK–a children’s theatre and dance company located in Queen Village, Philadelphia. The company consists of 150 children from Center City and the surrounding areas. Through artistic collaboration during the past three years, Jessica and Leslie have not only built a unique and successful contemporary ballet curriculum, they’ve also developed a vocabulary of emotional expression through gesture and movement. The creative momentum they developed over the past few years has naturally inspired this debut project. is an attempt to bring 25 people per performance into an intimate space (the P.A.C.K. studio) to experience a relationship’s beginning, middle, and tragic end.
