Snakebelly Historical Society is a small collective of artists creating experimental storytelling performances about the ever developing fictional town of Sweet Heart City. Based out of West Philly and New Boone Artist Collective and Gallery, S.H.S. presents a musical performance by one of Sweet Heart City’s most beloved acts.

The sensational Sweet Heart City pop sensation, Frances Doefeen comes from a long tradition of female pop stars in Sweet Heart City dating back a long time. Except she’s “like still popular and highly contemporary.” And though she has accumulated unimaginable fame in her hometown, she has never performed outside of it. When asked in a recent interview to comment on her first out of town show in Philadelphia, PA, the Pop Star said, “Well you know what they say about the center of the universe. When you are it, it’s really hard to tell how big the universe truly is.”
