Art and medicine collide in this physical theater exploration of painter Henri Toulouse-Lautrec: outsider, exhibitionist, clown, medical object, and self-appointed archivist of the Paris underground. From creators of 2013’s Saint Joan, Betrayed, comes a show about an artist who equated the grotesque with the sublime.

September 13th’s Noon show will be followed by a post-show discussion with Doctor Thomas Fekete of Temple School of Medicine — Metaphor or Misery: syphilis in the post-Romantic Era.
