In two short provocative plays disrupting theatrical and dramatic conventions, Once More Theatre performs The Scottish Wife’s Revenge and Tristan Tzara’s dada anti-masterpiece, anti-art play The Gas Heart. In The Gas Heart, described as a “three-act hoax” by the author, Mouth, Ear, Eye, Nose, Neck and Eyebrow reflect Tzara’s revolutionary concepts. In The Scottish Wife’s Revenge, Lady M offers a deviating assessment of the familiar interpretation of her character. Once More Theatre is the resident theatre company of Community College of Philadelphia.
