This work able is special. In it, we invite you to take apart objects. They are objects that you find in everyday life, but today they will be at your disposal, ready to be worked on by you. Prepared with safety gloves and various kinds of tools, you can use all your strength or all your delicacy to, for example, take apart the various parts of an umbrella or a toy.

Nothing in this living exhibit can remain intact! But do not think that we are here just to dismantle, because each piece will gain a new life. After this first part, you will receive a set of instructions to move you to other actions and new developments.

Visitors choose a start time when purchasing tickets: slots are available every 15 minutes between  hours of operation. There are three spots available per time slot. Visitors should arrive fifteen minutes before their time slot. For our regular hours, check out Worktable.

from New Zealand and trained in dance, since 2004 Kate has developed an internationally recognized body of stage and transdisciplinary work. Her stage works include the performances All Ears (2013), Dark Matter (2009), and In Many Hands (2016). Beside her own practice, Kate was a founding member of the Belgian performance collective and punkrock band Poni, and has collaborated as a performer with many directors including Tim Etchells, Wendy Houstoun, Antonia Baehr, and Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre. Kate is also a founding member—together with Diederik Peeters, Hans Bryssinck and Ingrid Vranken—of SPIN, an artist-run production and research platform in Brussels.
