Where did you graduate from?
The King’s College ’18, BA in Media, Culture, and The Arts

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now? Right now, designing signs and pamphlet materials. Getting layouts to become balanced and clean feels good.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
I think I’m too new here to make that call, but Rittenhouse Square reminds me of SoHo, so it feels familiar to me; all the glitzy restaurants and socialites.

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
The completely obscene amount of pop music I listen to! If it’s embarrassing, I probably listen to it.

How do you take your coffee?
Usually with just almond milk! Doing my part as a good millennial. 😉

Where did you graduate from?
Franklin & Marshall College ’14, BA in Dance, Minor in Anthropology

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now?
Collecting responses for this webpage, working on a style guide beyond our logo usage (so much fun because I am a huge word nerd and have lately developed my mother’s penchant for organization and uniformity) (in a good way!).

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
Oh this one is tough. I’m definitely partial to the northwestern neighborhoods because my fiancé and I live in Chestnut Hill. Mt. Airy, East Falls, and Manayunk are all fun to wander around and have a good balance between activities and greenspace. I also love the Cedar Park area of West Philly- such amazing food, fun things to do, beautiful buildings, and trees!

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Definitely vegan donuts from Dottie’s (speaking of West Philly). I keep thinking I’ve scratched the itch but the craving always comes back.

How do you take your coffee?
Preferably warm, always black!

Where did you graduate from?
West Chester University ‘19, BS in Marketing, Minor in Web Technology

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now?
Developing the branding materials and language for the newest festivals, High Pressure Fire Service and Blue Heaven! It’s interesting being on the backend of an organization and getting to see how these Festivals are produced from the ground up and the impression they have on an audience.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
Definitely West Philly! Whenever I get the chance I love going to Fairmount Park, not only do I find something new that surprises me and peaks my interest but it has a combination of all my favorite things; history, art and nature, all in my favorite city! (Also a plus: its only a 5 minute drive from my favorite restaurant, Sardi’s Pollo A La  Brasa! High recommend!)

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
I’ve rewatched Gilmore Girls three times now, and fangirled when they came back with their mini-series in 2016. (No shame).

How do you take your coffee?
Iced, always with a pump of vanilla syrup, and sometimes with an espresso shot for that extra boost when needed!

Where did you graduate from?
West Chester University ’97, BA in Musical Theatre, Moravian College ’01 Teaching Certificate

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now?
Getting ready for appeals! My favorite experience at FringeArts so far was FEASTIVAL. So interesting to see what happens behind the scenes of a major event and then experience it all coming together.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
Old City – I am a history buff.

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Shopping! I have a major addiction!

How do you take your coffee?
No coffee, peppermint tea please!

Lisa
Taurus | INFP | She/Her | Development Intern

Where did you graduate from?
Richard Stockton University ’05, MA in Speech Pathology and Audiology, but it has been my informal education as a vocalist and aspiring accordionist that lead me to DEVO. It is my goal to facilitate the dreams of arts-minded individuals by helping them find funding for their creativity.

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now?
Post-Festival appeals. Lots of data scrubbing, but I don’t mind.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
I loved living near the Italian Market, but I am happy to have a backyard and accessibility to a train line living in East Falls.

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Perfect Strangers on Hulu.

How do you take your coffee?
Coconut cream (when I can find it) and sugar.

Paige
Aries | INFJ | She/Her | Programming Intern

Where did you graduate from?
Smith ’16, BA in Sociology

What fun things are you working on for your internship right now?
Lately, I have been working on partner research to pinpoint similar festivals to that of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, both nationally and internationally. Hopefully, FringeArts can collaborate with some of these festivals or at least bounce ideas off of each other.

What is your favorite neighborhood in Philly and why?
East Passyunk in South Philly. One, because I live there. Two, because Passyunk Avenue has some of the best food and bars in the city. And three, because it’s up and coming but still has that old-school Philly feel (think: Italian bakeries on every corner). And who doesn’t love a thick South Philly accent! (Just kidding).

Do you have a guilty pleasure?
Pumpkin spice lattes and shopping in Rittenhouse.

How do you take your coffee?
Iced, throughout the year.
