Fringe Limerick: iNtuitions Experimental Theatre

Posted July 20th, 2009

Remember when you were in college?
UPenn is where we get our knowledge.
We wrote six short plays
Directed for days
Hopefully you’ll enjoy them all-age.

(that didn’t work out so well.)

Hey, at least they tried. Thanks to Johnny Lloyd of Penn’s iNtuitions Experimental Theatre, which has produced new work and new takes on old plays since 1980. Last spring, they put up The Importance of Being Earnest. The mise-en-scène? A concentration camp. iNtuitions is producing a night of six short works as part of Philly Fringe this year, as The Alternative Theatre Festival. Ticket price? $5, which is less than a dollar per production.
