Health & Safety

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring all updates and responding accordingly, and will be sharing all updates regarding FringeArts’ Health & Safety Policy here.

The 2021 Fringe Festival will take place predominantly in person. To help protect the health and safety of audiences, artists, staff, and our greater community, audience members are required to wear masks at all indoor performances.

Additionally, all indoor FringeArts Curated events in the Fringe Festival will require proof of vaccination to attend. Audience members will be asked to show proof of vaccination before entering a performance venue. Accepted forms for proof of vaccination include a physical vaccine card with your name on it or a digital photo of your vaccine card on a cell phone. Please plan accordingly.

Some independently produced shows also require proof of vaccination. Please reference individual event details for show-specific guidelines.

If you have misplaced your vaccine cared, you can contact Philly’s Covid Call Center (215-685-5488) and get a replacement. For vaccinated individuals, their info is in a system that allows them to get replacement cards if they’re lost or damaged.

You can follow these instructions from the DOH to get a hold of your vaccine record.

If you are feeling unwell, experiencing any COVID-related symptoms, or come into close contact with someone who has COVID-19 up to 14 days before a performance, please stay home.

These guidelines may evolve depending on local health and safety recommendations. Please check back here for the latest information, and be sure to consult individual event details for any additional COVID-related precautions.
