Fringe Haiku:
The Fringe Festival isn’t just theater and dance. There’s poetry too! The New Philadelphia Poets are performing in the Magic Gardens, which is a killer venue.
Their show is called In(visible) Keepsakes, and Sarah Heady writes sends in with these haiku [by Greg Bem]:
A celebration
can smother these mental plagues
like melted gold coins.
It could’ve been music,
or just the lengthening lines.
Laboratories.
In(visible) Keepsakes is one night only: Friday, September 4, at 6:00 pm in the Magic Gardens at 1020 South Street. And it’s a steal at only $5! Although I am slightly afraid of that mouth there.
Do you have a limerick or haiku about your Fringe show? Send it my way: nicholas[at]pafringe[dot]com.
