Get some Asian American performing arts in you this weekend…

Posted March 24th, 2010

…at Home: Far and Near, a festival of Asian American performance.

The festival convenes Asian America’s most talented and provocative performers working in diverse disciplines, from right in Philly and across the country – some classic, some cutting edge, all unforgettable. Asian Arts Initiative’s 2010 Exchange, Home: Far and Near, brings them together to explore broad themes of immigration, displacement, and the concept of home.

It starts with three nights of not-to-miss showcases of solo work.
Tomorrow night is the first, featuring Makoto Hirano of Live Arts Festival fame!

See the complete schedule at the Asian Arts Initiative’s website here.
