Take a bicycle built for two to Arden Theatre tomorrow for 2-for-1 tix

Posted July 1st, 2010

Just when you thought we’d shut up about Last Mondays, here’s a First Friday first for Philly! (Say that five times fast.)

Ride your bike to Arden Theatre Company’s showing of Sunday in the Park with George, a musical inspired by the pointillism painting by George Seurat below, at 8pm tomorrow, July 2nd, for Philly’s first Bike to Theater Night. Your bike will be valet-parked by Neighborhood Bike Works, a local nonprofit that encourages urban cycling, and if you show your valet parking stub at the box office, you’ll get a “tandem discount” of half-price tickets (regularly $40) to the show.

I’d definitely take advantage of this if my bike hadn’t been stolen last weekend. Maybe use the money you save on tickets to buy me a new one? Thanks.

Call 215-922-1122 to reserve tickets.
