You haven’t forgotten Fatebook from last year’s Live Arts Festival or Hearts of Man from 2007. So what happens when the creators of those two shows, New Paradise Labratories, who are famous for their physical theater, and The Riot Group, whose experimental works are language-driven, collaborate on a new play for the 2010 Live Arts Festival?

At this Meet the Artist Event, New Paradise Laboratories’ Whit MacLaughlin and The Riot Group’s Adriano Shaplin are joined by members of their creative team for a behind-the-scenes presentation on their unique collaboration, FREEDOM CLUB. There will be a sneak peek of the work-in-progress, which time-warps between the deliriums of John Wilkes Booth and a 2015 group of Virginian radicals, followed by a reception with brews and bites provided by Cosmic Catering.
