You probably already know that there’s a Bang on a Can Marathon this year as part of the Live Arts Festival. We thought you’d like to get better acquainted with the musicians who you’ll be seeing on September 12, in this handy video series.

If you missed the Asphalt Orchestra last year at 30th Street Station, you weren’t obeying our commands as closely as you should’ve. Fear not: they will grace the BoaC Marathon. A 12-person ensemble that takes new music to the streets, shake hands with them in this introductory video:

Bang on a Can Marathon: Philadelphia takes place on September 12 at World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street, University City. 2:00 pm to midnight, $25.
