Community Paint Day

The How Philly Moves mural project is well on its way to becoming one of the largest public art projects in the world, and you can have a hand in making it this Sunday, December 12.

What: Community paint day: you are invited!

When: Sunday, 12/12/2010, 12pm – 3pm

Where: The Gallery at Market East (9th & Market) – top floor
(more info about the studio)

Help make this day even more successful as the first community paint day was.

About How Philly Moves: The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has selected How Philly Moves as part of its new gateways initiative. This extraordinary new work of community-based public art will culminate in a dynamic and iconic new ‘postcard’ image for Philadelphia: a nearly 50,000-square-foot mural across the facade of the Philadelphia International Airport’s parking garage installing in spring 2011.
