Today, get to know Charli Brissey of the Maeko Film Project, who I haven’t even met yet, but I’m already fond of her because of her stated fondness for whiskey. Artists! They know what’s up.

Kisses.

What’s your favorite alcoholic beverage?
Whiskey, hence the show title.

What was the last performance you saw?
Brian Brooks Moving Company.

If you were a “Founding Father,” which one would you be?
Ben Franklin—physics rocks my world, literally.

Do you care about the Civil War Sesquicentennial?
Can’t say im too concerned.

What’s the worst thing you ever did for money?
Stood on an electric fence with an electric dog collar on my neck. That’s not actually the worst—but its all youre getting.

Do you have relatives more famous than you?
Pocahontas – for real.

Do you have pets?
Yes, a pitbull mix named Laika after the space mission.

If you weren’t an artist, what would your job be?
A shaman, hidden deep in a jungle in a tree with a jaguar. So not really a job, but that’s what id be doing . . .

What’s the most disgusting thing you’ve ever seen on SEPTA?
Never been on it. But I’ve seen disgusting things.
