Hey, Who Are You? Isa St. Clair Edition

Posted August 26th, 2011

If I tell the youngs that I have tendinitis, will they steal my blog job? Probably. Today, meet Pia’s minion.

Isa St. Clair (Programming Intern) is a 2011 graduate from Swarthmore College, where she was awarded highest honors as a theater major and Latin minor. A recent transplant to lovely West Philly, Isa is spending her time in Philadelphia pursuing her triple interests in acting, dramaturgy, and bill-paying, despite the fact that they rarely overlap. She has spent this summer precariously balancing her time between working for the Festival, acting with the Delaware Shakespeare Festival, and working as a reader for Philly Young Playwrights. Next up: a literary internship at the Wilma!

On your average weekday, you can find Isa about 6 inches from her computer screen in the Live Arts / Fringe office, frantically responding to emails, negotiating airfare, booking vast numbers of hotel rooms, and writing programs. On your average weekend, she’s probably at a show, an audition, or a bar.

Highlight of working for the festival: Getting to know the ins and outs of so many amazing companies!

“Lowlight” of working for the festival: Taxidermy? Just kidding. [But seriously, have you seen Pia’s office?! –NG]

Now stop reading the blog and go buy some tickets!

Thanks, Isa!
