Is it a coffee day?

Companies: anonymous bodies (co-director); producing director, The Philadiction Movement

Artistic occupation:Poetry, performance art, curation

First experience with coffee that made you understand coffee: I don’t understand coffee. I’m much better with tea. Ideally ginger root tea or a nice double rose tea. Just check my twitter: @jaamilkosoko. [Ed. note: this twitter disease has got to stop.]

Coffee you drink at home: I don’t drink coffee at home.

How you like your coffee: I sometimes order ice coffee in the summer.

Average no. of cups per day: I might have a cup of coffee once every couple weeks. It’s more a dessert for me.

Fave coffee shop: Chapterhouse (9th & Bainbridge) / B2 (E. Passyunk & Dickinson) / The Last Drop (13 & Pine)

Fave fancy coffee drink: Chai latte. (Does this count? It’s caffeinated.)

What’s the most inappropriate thing a barista has ever said to you? Your card was declined.

Enough about coffee, what are you doing now? Preparing to tour my new solo other.explicit.body. to Harlem Stage in NYC, Kelly Strayhorn Theater in Pittsburgh, and Tokyo, Japan. I’m curating a new series at Studio 34 in West Philly titled JUXT[a]POSE! ,which happens April 14, 2012 at 7:30pm. I’m also working on a new show us. with Kate Watson Wallace and Megan Bridge. Visit our kickstarter page for details. [Ed: and give money!]
