Beautiful Day in Your Neighborhood Fringe: West Philly

pinkmuseumThe final weekend of the 2013 Fringe Festival is here. Is your energy up? Because in each neighborhood, the fest is still going strong. Here’s what’s going on in West Philly.

Independent comedy at Studio 34, presented by Polygon Comedy. 4522 Baltimore Avenue, tomorrow, 7:00 pm, $12.

The Pink Museum will take you on a tour of one man’s gay history at the Meetinghouse Theater at the CEC, 3500 Lancaster Avenue, closing tonight at 9:00 pm. Free!

At the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral, catch a chamber musical. Love, Rose runs tonight at 8:00 pm and tomorrow at 4:00 pm at 3723 Chestnut Street. $15.

Gender Reel offers its film and performance arts festival for the last time at this year’s Fringe tonight at 6:00 pm at The Rotunda, 4014 Walnut Street. $10. While there, check out One Year, a moving installation commemorating the 331 Philadelphian’s murdered in 2012.
