Benjamin and Thom are masters of Varieté… which means a lot of different things! In this case, it means dazzling dining, eccentric entreés, and jubilant juggling. Thom Wall and Benjamin Domask-Ruh are back at it, again, to present an unforgettable show. Designed with the intention to ease the troubles and cares of an audience, this duo dares to bring an audience together through juggling, comedy, and object manipulation – and to ask them to have fun.

Limited tickets for this show are “Sliding Scale”, or Pay What You Can, which means you are able to pick your price. If you are able to pay the suggested price, that will help to subsidize somebody else’s ticket in need, but seating is General Admission and is not determined by the amount you choose to pay.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Benjamin Domask-Ruh: Benjamin is a director, performer, teacher, musician, and clown residing in Minnesota and working all around the world. Past work includes: Dead + Alive (2022), International Jugglers’ Association (IJA) – Cascade of Stars (2022), Fox and Beggar Theatre – The Lonesome Spectacular – Guest Director (2022), CompanytoXfor – SurfaceTension – Outside Eye (2022), CLIMB Theatre – Flora and Fauna – Playwright (2019), Children’s Theatre Company – Cinderella – Assistant Director (2019), and Tigerlion Arts – Nature (2017). Benjamin collaborates with Thom Wall, touring their award winning show, An Evening with Benjamin and Thom. Benjamin most recently toured his show HODGE PODGE (2023) at the International Physical Theater Festival in Chicago. He is a Teaching Artist with COMPAS, a teaching artist with the Hennepin Theater Trust, board chair of the IJA, director of the Youth Juggling Academy, and an Associate Editor with Modern Vaudeville Press. Thom Wall: Thom Wall is an American juggler who specializes in juggling disciplines from the past. After completing a five-year tour juggling for Cirque du Soleil’s Totem (2014-2019), Wall now resides in Philadelphia where he researches circus history, consults for nonprofits, and coaches juggling and performance at Circadium: School of Contemporary Circus. When not at home, he’s performing his solo show On the Topic of Juggling on cruise ships and stages around the world.

Thom holds a Masters’ of Science in Nonprofit Arts Administration from Drexel University (2015), and was awarded La Medalla Crotalus Scholaris by the Mesoamerican University in Puebla (2014), Mexico for his work revitalizing forgotten juggling disciplines. Thom is the founder of Modern Vaudeville Press (2018), an independent publishing company which produces academic titles about the circus arts.
