DEFINE: Clarify the questions and intentions behind your project.

DEVELOP: Generate and refine material through guided exercises, feedback, and experimentation.

DELIVER: Shape and share ideas, and leave with tools to carry the work forward.

$350 for the series
$250 earlybird rate
Fee includes a bonus one-on-one rehearsal and pre/post workshop meetings.

About the Artist

MASON ROSENTHAL is a performance maker and educator raised in Skokie, Illinois. He has devised over 75 original performance pieces as an independent artist and as a founding Co-Director of the award-winning Philadelphia-based theater company, Lightning Rod Special (est. 2012). LRS highlights include Nosejob (FringeArts 2024), The Appointment (The New York Times’ “Best Theater of 2019”), and Underground Railroad Game (2016 Obie Award for Best New American Theater Work). Mason’s current/recent projects include: director/writer Sohrab is Bumbling Foriegner (FringeArts 2025, Cannonball 2024), writer/performer The Fluxus Brothers Present: Good Art Bad Art (Cannonball 2024, PhysFestNYC 2025), director/creator Total Modeling (Denver Fringe, Glitterbox Theater, Philadelphia Fringe 2025), director/creator Fascist Groove (Cannonball 2025).
