Scratch Night

Scratch Night

The popular, long running monthly works-in-progress series.

Scratch Night returns in February 2019! Philadelphia Magazine listed FringeArts’ Scratch Night as the 2017 “Best Place to Discover the Next Theater Star!”

FringeArts’ long-running works-in-progress series, Scratch Night is an opportunity for artists across disciplines to share brief excerpts of works in various stages of development in an informal environment. Attendance is free, but RSVPs are encouraged. Beginning in February 2019, Scratch Night will take place monthly through July, with three Festival Preview Nights (Scratch Nights previewing upcoming Fringe Festival works) in August.

Moving forward, Scratch Nights will each be hosted by an individual artist who will work with Artistic Producers Zach Blackwood and Katy Dammers to select artists. The artist hosts will then chair the evening, introducing artists and providing context for their presentation.
