Scratch Night

The popular, long-running works-in-progress series.

Philadelphia Magazine listed FringeArts’ Scratch Night as the 2017 “Best Place to Discover the Next Theater Star!”

FringeArts’ long-running works-in-progress series, Scratch Night is an opportunity for artists across disciplines to share brief excerpts of works in various stages of development in an informal environment. Attendance is free, but RSVPs are encouraged. Scratch Nights take place on the first Monday of each month through June (excl. January), with three Festival Preview Nights (Scratch Nights previewing upcoming Fringe Festival works) in August.

Scratch Nights are hosted by local artists who work with Artistic Producer Zach Blackwood to select performing artists for the evening. The artist hosts also chair the evening, introducing artists and providing context for their presentations.
