More Family-Friendly Shows!
Rachel Dukeman from Plays & Players writes in to remind us about a couple awesome family-friendly shows at the 2011 Philly Fringe that our previous post missed:
Superheroes Who Are Super! If you like comic books, you’ll love these word-for-word staged readings of your favorites! The Justice League of America has come to the Fringe in the form of Wonder Woman, The Green Lantern, and more! Superheroes Who Are Super brings the dramatic nature of comic books to life while also parodying them. Superheroes Who Are Super! runs now through September 19 at the Skinner Studio at Plays and Players Theater, 1714 Delancey Place. The 7:00 pm show family-friendly (9:00 pm is for mature audiences only), $15.
Hear Again Radio Project delivers two classic radio programs which are perfect for the whole family; the Fringe edition is science fiction dramas! The radio programs include live music and Foley sound effects. Featuring different episodes on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Hear Again Radio Project runs now until September 18 at the Skinner Studio at Plays and Players Theater, 1714 Delancey Place, $12.
Thanks, Rachel!
