This long-running works-in-progress series is an opportunity for artists and audiences to connect. See experimental works at various stages of development – from the first spark of something new to an excerpt of a finished piece. Come discover new artists or see an exciting debut from a longtime favorite.
Co-presented by Cannonball and FringeArts, a handful of artists from across disciplines will bring an informal showing of something they’re working on – and you’ll have a front row seat to their process. Stay for a drink, chat with artists and audiences about what you saw, and provide vital feedback that will help with the development of the work.

LINE-UP
“Be Good!” with Paulette – Daniel Maseda
Paulette is a polite fellow in a brown sweater. Tonight he arrives in a room full of the most people he’s ever seen, and he doesn’t know whether to marvel or panic. So, armed with nothing but his manners, he begins to enter—good heavens! Here he comes!
dog hearted man/I like you – Lo Rile Smith (Tangle Movement Arts)
dog hearted man/I like you is an aerial dance window into explosive private action, a butch burlesque invitation in invisible ink. A portal you can tap open if you know how. Wallflower, underdog, weightlifting clown: it’s hard to put this into words and even harder to put it on a trapeze but I’d like you to watch me try.
: Now is the Time of Monsters – Linnea Bond
In 2011, I walked on the side of the road from southwestern Virginia to Philadelphia.
Ratherine the Brave – Jeffrey Sykes
Ratherine the Brave, a new comedy ballet about a chaotic, toxic work relationship. Watch as Ratherine, a bold and determined dancer, battles their overly critical narrator with humor, heart, and some seriously questionable moves. This mix of dance, comedy, and drama will prove that even the most dysfunctional partnerships can spark something special.
